Fasttaxi app charges you waiting fee whenever the driver is to wait for you to do certain things during, and/or sometimes before the trip starts. You will be charged waiting fee in the following occasions:

• when the driver arrives at your pickup location and after 4 minutes of waiting you’re not ready.
• when trip has started and for one reason or the other you wish to stop somewhere while the driver waits for you

Note:

• waiting fee differs from location to location. E.g Lagos waiting fee isn’t the same as Benin waiting fee.
• you will not be charged waiting fee if a ride is cancelled
• your invoice and receipt will show the amount charged for waiting fee.

If your ride fare is a bit higher than the estimated fare these are the possible reasons why it may be so:

• the driver may have taken a different route than the app anticipated
• there may have been traffic on the way which made the time price a bit higher
• you had stopovers during your trip which extended the time you spent on the trip and also attracted waiting fee
• driver device had GPS or network issues

Note: If you notice that your final fare is outrageously higher than the estimated fare and none of the above reason is true for your case, kindly contact customer support through the app. We’ll look into it and refund you the difference were necessary.

In case Fasttaxi has to refund you your money for any reason, this refund will be credited to your Fasttaxi wallet. You can use it to ride whenever you like or withdraw it to your bank account. Withdrawal to bank accounts is instant.

Note: Fasttaxi charges N100 for every withdrawal you make to your bank account.

Please note that we mainly accept MasterCard and Visa Cards. If you add a card and it fails, make sure your card number, expiring date, CVV and card pin are correct. If your card information is correct and it still fails to add, these are some reasons why it failed:

1. You may not have sufficient funds in your card
2. Your card may have expired
3. Your bank may refuse to authorize the debit of your card due to some sort of flag in your account
4. Your may have exceeded your spending limits

Please note that all these issues are outside our control. Kindly contact your bank to resolve them.

If you have any issues adding your card, kindly contact support through the app.

You can easily resend the receipt on your own. Just follow these steps:

1. Go to the Main menu at the top left corner
2. Tap on History
3. Tap the ride you wish to resend its receipt
4. Tap Resend receipt

Note: If you checked and could not find your receipt in your inbox, kindly check your spam/junk folder, or check if your email address on your Fasttaxi account is correct.

Fasttaxi payment processor (Paystack) charges you a Card processing fee when you to pay with card. Below is how they charge you:

1. If your ride fare is less than N1900, you’ll be charged 1.5% of the fare as card processing fee
2. If your ride fare is greater than 1900, you’ll be charged 1.5% of the ride fare plus 100 Naira as card processing fee.

Note:

• Card processing fees applies to Wallet funding also
• You will see the card processing fee in your invoice
• If you’re funding your wallet, you’ll be told that a card processing fee will be included in the amount that’ll be debited from your card.
